| Description | First catalogued as available in 1951 at 2/-d, printed in black and white. Re-printed in 1952 at 2/6d in color. No significant stocks of this model were passed to Broadway Approvals in 1956. Micromodels London has designed a wrapper, and has the intention to publish the model in the near future. There are serious doubts that the first edition set was issued. There is no known example. The wrapper for this set was certainly printed as it was utilized, by overprinting, for the 2/6d set. The wording “models for hand painting” is deleted and substituted by the red printing “now printed in colour”. Both cards of the “Earl” Class locomotive are marked “card 2”. |
