| Description | First issued in 1952 at 2/6d. Reprinted in 1955 at 3/-d. Large stocks of this reprint were passed down the line to the Watford Model Supply Co. in 1971. Micromodelle Heidelberg, Micromodels London and MicromodelsUSA have issued a version of the Cotton Blossom. The AGK (Arbeitskreis Geschichte des Kartonmodellbaus) has published the Showboat Cotton Blossom 2/6d version. It is a supplement of the AGK-Heft issue 9, published in 2009. The Cotton Blossom played a major role in the enormous successful 1951 film “Showboat” starring Howard Keel and Kathryn Grayson. |
