A surviving example in the collection of the former Cumberland Toy and Model Museum is awarded to a Mr. Weaver of Merlewood, Newport Road, Stafford, on the 4th february 1954. He qualified as a “Graduate Micromodel Maker”. The document was signed by Geoffrey Heighway and B.M. Welch. On the leaflet Festival of Britain 1951 model builders are informed how to enter their work for a Diploma. |
